Seasons India

Well, I am not a big Orient fan, most of all because of the women undermining tradition (no offence, but it is quite true), I do prefer the European freedom in which I grew up.
Yet! I can't seem to get enough of their fascination regarding health and beauty from every point of view.
We Europeans are stressed, very professional, serious and quick in everything we do, but Asia gives us a good lesson on how to just lay back, relax and enjoy the simple beauties of life. And they do discover beauty even where we Europeans wouldn't think of. All my respect for that!

I remembered the things I wrote about above after I saw these :

I just remained: "oh! WOW!"

Seasons is an Indian brand with some gorgeous dresses.
Even if you wouldn't wear them on the street, you need to admit that these are just "WOW"!
I would love to have one of those dresses, I would find some opportunity to wear it, don't worry about it :P

Now serious: they have a Facebook profile and a downloadable calendar on their webpage, check them out ;)

Interesting styles

I really do love interesting people. Not necessarily beautiful, just interesting; the ones that have that "something".

Like this guy in this picture:

Or this one:

I love people who are stylish without being fashionable. Just the way they are, with their own, personal style. There is nothing better then a well defined personal style :)

That is why I instantly fell in love with this blog : BACKYARD BILL

Fyi, Bill has a new website, check it out : http://www.backyardbill.com/

Hope u'll love it as much as I do!

CHLOROPHYTUM COMOSUM (aka spider plant)

Growing up surrounded by nature and green plants all around me, it is quite difficult for me to get used to the dusty, gray city, with no air to breath and suffocating heath in the summer. Need I say not, I prefer winter to summer, if summer is 40 degrees Celsius :(
So each time I talk to mom and dad back home, I am bugging them that I would love to have in the apartment some plants that we had at home (mom still has them, I learned from her to love plants :)). Dad was always the one taking care of the vegetable garden and the fruit trees and mom was busy with the flower garden and the countless plants populating the house. It is jungle (in the good sense of the word) from the inside and the outside :)
Last time my parents came to visit us in the big city apartment, dad asked me if I want him to bring me some plants also. YES! Of course!
Well, my thought was that he will bring me 1 or 2... but dad always thinks large scale :S He brought me around 10 plants :O
Yeah, I was totally shocked. Where the hell will I put all of them?
In the end I put most of them in the kitchen (now it's a bit crowded, but at least it's green :)) and the rest of them ... well, all around the room.
Most of them I knew what kind of plants they are, but there was a particular one that I had no idea what it's called.
So I started searching the net for it. It is rather hard to find a plant when you don't know it's name, but I finally found it :D

It is a Spider Plant (CHLOROPHYTUM COMOSUM)!

Ok, mine is not as big and fluffy as the ones in the picture above, but it will, now that I know how to take care of it :)

What plants do you have in the house?

Changes...or not

Someone recently told me : "How much you've changed!"
Needless to say that the person in case didn't even knew me in the first place to be entitled to make such a presumption, yet my answer was shockingly quick and accurate (usually I tend to remember some time after the moment passed what i should of / could of said): "I didn't change, I just learned a lot."
I also wanted to say after that : "Maybe you should too." but I restrained myself from being nasty and sarcastic. :)

From this I remembered another line that I should of told to another person, but the perfect line came after several hours from the moment I should of told it (typically me): "I am Me. You can upgrade me, but you cannot change me." (it was a discussion about how some people tend to mold their personality to other powerful characters around them.
I am usually the one that is being mimicked, I never take over other peoples habits, lines, thoughts, etc, unless they are somewhat like my own habits, lines, thoughts, etc.
I'm proud of myself for that :)

Holy crap!

That was my reaction to the number of posts made by you guys in the last 3 weeks :O
Your active no kidding :D

Then I thought that it's quite understandable, when you follow 120 blogs and I usually read around 500 posts per week from all of you... multiply that with three very busy weeks (and a lot of traveling) and you'll get the final number ;)

Well, my reader is displaying 1000+ as a number, but I guess it is around 2000.

So wish me good reading, this is going to take a while... a pleasant "while" :)
